Industrial Gas Mixtures

Mixtures of two or more gases are often used over several industries. Varying the percentage of Carbon Dioxide in Argon for instance can have dramatically different results to the weld characteristics. Other gas mixtures affect the penetration of the weld, color of the weld, and several other characteristics. Specific gas combinations are used when welding on stainless steel, that would not be used when welding on carbon steel.
